SHELBY HILL

Hi, I’m Shelby! I have a 200 Hour certification in Vinyasa flow yoga through the American Yoga Academy and am certified in trauma-informed yoga. Finding a way for health, fitness, and mental health to co-exist has always been an important goal of mine. I strongly believe that everyone can find a form of movement that enriches their own mind-body connection and that everyone can build a sustainable health routine that matches individual experiences, goals, and lifestyle.

The yoga classes that I bring to you are curated to fit every person, regardless of your prior yoga experience. I call my class Warrior Flow because it combines the slow flow, deep stretches, and relaxation of traditional vinyasa yoga with the up-beat energy and strength of power yoga. My class is set to all types of modern day music and classic beats. I believe that yoga is for everyone and all bodies.

When I am not teaching yoga I am a practicing speech and language pathologist and I work with Deaf adults and children using American Sign Language.

My mission is to create a space where movement is celebrated and empowering. If this sounds like something you are interested in, please join me for yoga practice!

JESI LAUDER

Jesi remembers first experiencing the spirit of yoga while practicing the plow series as described in a book from her mother's bedroom as a pre-adolescent. She delved further into the realm in high school during a week long daily class that ended each session with a hot cup of Elephant Chai.

At age 21, Jesi found Bikram Yoga and was hooked. She would commute to studios in Concord and Manchester, NH when able, but practiced Bikram's yoga CD in her hot bathroom as often as possible.

In 2009 she moved to St. Augustine, FL where she cleaned the Bikram studio's mirrors in exchange for daily classes. She began practicing Bikram's advanced series once a week, and sometimes did "doubles" where she would be in the hot room for beginner's series twice a day. Jesi attended several "Master classes" where experienced teachers would dissect the practice over day long workshops. This led her to begin training for yoga competition and took part in a 10 day backbending immersion in Charleston, SC, though she did not ever choose to compete.

In 2010, Jesi moved to the Mount Washington Valley and maintained an in home practice until starting a Hot Yoga class at Sunshine Yoga in Conway in 2012. In 2013, she traveled to Cabo San Lucas to receive formal training at the Yogic Physical Culture Academy. This training inspired her to drop the heat and focus on breath work and alignment during yoga poses. She began teaching at Be Well Studios in North Conway, NH and Nurture Through Nature in Denmark, ME until 2015, when she took her practice back home.

Jesi started practicing the Ashtanga primary series in January of 2020 and continues to expore that lineage, in combination with the Ghosh lineage where Bikram Yoga originated.

Jesi took over ownership of Rejuventaion Wellness Center in Fryeburg, ME in April of 2020, and relocated to what is now HeartSpace! She aspires to bring her passion of yoga to the local community, as well as offering other avenues of healing with massage and meditation, and providing space for other's to host their modalities too.
