SUN 8:30am, WED 5:30pm
Pilates
with Jessica S.
This Pilates practice focuses on the core, abs, glutes, legs, upper body & mind - all with Pilates principles engrained.
It is an HIIT (High-intensity interval training) workout which involves bursts of cardio excerice followed by brief periods of rest. 20 seconds of hard work followed by 20 seconds of rest trains the mind & body to know that we can do anything for 20 seconds.
It is SO fun - upbeat music, detailed and specific instruction. It is all science based combining aerobic & anaerobic workouts into one training session. You will be burning calories while improving endurance, building stamina/strength & increasing flexibility (both mental & physical). Strong mind, strong body.
The room will be warm in order to loosen up the muscles & make you sweat! There are modifications to accommodate all students. Most importantly, everyone does the best they can with the best they've got.

FRI 6/19 6:30pm
Therapeutic Breathwork
with Iz
Therapeutic Breathwork sessions include a facilitated breathing practice that may produce powerful mental, emotional, and physical effects. These
sessions are guided by a trained and skilled, trauma informed facilitator who may use a combination of: verbal coaching, touch, music, and movement to support the client in the
process of emotional release and physical relaxation. Facilitators move around the client throughout the session, providing guidance and/or support, helping clients to stay present in the experience and navigate any challenging emotions or sensations that may arise.

Therapeutic Breathwork sessions may include, but are not limited to, deeper, faster breathing. These guided practices can produce changes in the body chemistry which may cause temporary tingling sensations, strong muscle contractions, lightheadedness,
changes in body temperature, feelings of release or relief, and/or strong emotions. Some participants may also experience changes in brain waves similar to deep states of meditation or a lucid dream-like quality during the session.

TUES 5:30pm
Yin Yoga
with Chelsea
Yin is a practice of passive stretching: getting into position and simply shifting focus into the breath and allowing the body to move in its own way through the pose.

Poses are held longer (3-5 minutes) to allow the body to enter a deeper state of stretch within the pose, getting through the muscles and into the fascia.

The challenge of yin isn’t from the movement through poses, but rather from learning to relax into them despite any discomfort that might be present.

All levels are welcome.

Greet the day with some long breaths and playful movements.
Morning Flow focuses on whole body awareness- moving through sequences of poses while tuning into the entirety of the body and its engagement within the pose. Through this greater body awareness the intention is to challenge ourselves- strength, balance and flexibility- without causing harm.
All levels are welcome, however please note this class moves faster and is more challenging than a beginner specific class.
